# DSISD Schools Zoned to Sunset Canyon (and the Bus Situation)

Sunset Canyon is zoned to **Dripping Springs ISD (DSISD)**, one of the highest-rated public districts in the Austin metro. Current zoning:

-   **Elementary:** Walnut Springs Elementary (most of the subdivision)
-   **Middle:** Dripping Springs Middle School
-   **High:** Dripping Springs High School

Zoning can shift as DSISD opens new campuses — always re-verify on the district's attendance-zone lookup with the exact street address.

## Bus pickup

DSISD provides bus service to Sunset Canyon. Stops are at the main subdivision entrances rather than individual driveways. Expect a **15–25 minute ride** to the elementary depending on stop order. High-schoolers with cars overwhelmingly drive.
